Hiring Sr. Millwright for a Refinery located in Channelview. Site was founded in 2014 as a family-owned business which operates an 11-acre refinery located on S. Sheldon Road. The refinery was built in 2015 and is designed for production of 25,000 barrels of throughput per day. Site processes crude condensate to produce several different product streams, including an atmospheric gas oil, a marine gas oil, multiple grades of kerosene/jet fuel, a naphtha blend stock, and an LPG stream. These products are primarily transported by barge through a partnership with Energy Transfer Houston Terminal at their adjacent facility, or by truck through our on-site truck rack.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete and/or coordinate all repairs needed on pumps, finfans, and compressors.
Keep up with all PM’s and inspections on pumps, finfans, and compressors.
Keep up with pump repair kits, spare parts, and motor inventory.
Use heavy equipment to move items around including forklifts, manlifts, small cranes.
Keep up with various plant tools – electrical, pneumatic, battery operated, and hand tools.
Provide direction for other maintenance resources.
Coordinate with contractors as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency (required)
- Industrial college degree or Technical Class certifications (preferred)
- HAZWOPER 40 Trained (preferred)
- Must have 7 years relevant millwright experience (pump reliability, compressor knowledge, lubrication experience, & pump seal certification).
QUALIFICATIONS: Heavy Equipment certification, Millwright certified, some electrical experience, pump seal training and lubrication.
SKILLS: Various pump training, heavy equipment trained, & first aid training
PERFORMANCE GOALS: Maintain all plant equipment in working order. Coordinate all maintenance activities with operations. Keep maintenance employees safe and productive. Keep up with all necessary inspections and maintenance programs as needed
