Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading bulk liquid materials utilizing railcars, tank trucks, ships/barges, Iso-tanks, and various transport vehicles and containers.
- Responsible for loading and shipping product from raw material delivery to shipment of finished product.
- Connects and disconnects product hoses and loading arms.
- Performs some lining up of valves and pumps for product transfer.
- Monitors product transfer for safety, quality, and productivity.
- Takes samples from vehicles/containers in accordance with established procedures.
- Inspecting containers for loading/unloading and documenting the inspection results.
- Bulk liquid material transfers throughout specified tank farms.
- Preparation and loading of finished products for domestic and export shipments.
Minimum Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalent AND
3 years recent Chemical/Terminal Loading experience in the petrochemical industry (required) OR
3 years recent Chemical/Terminal Loading experience in the petrochemical industry AND Two Year Associates Degree in Process Technology, preferred
TWIC Card, preferred
Operators will work in a safety-sensitive environment and work shift work (overtime, as needed).
Successful candidates will be required to have a passing score on pre-employment test including mechanical aptitude, reading and mathematics.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete extensive testing, drug/alcohol screen, physical requirement evaluation, and background verification.
